Victoria M. Scozzaro, Esq. is a Labor and Employment Law attorney in Tully Rinckey PLLC’s Buffalo office, where she focuses her exercise on federal zone labor and employment law.
Prior to joining Tully Rinckey, Victoria became an Associate Lawyer at a Keene, New Hampshire regulation workplace, wherein she represented customers throughout New England in suits and administrative complaints (such as government agencies and in courtroom) springing up out of employment disputes such as wrongful termination, discrimination claims, harassment claims, retaliation, non-solicitation and non-opposition clauses, salary and hour disputes, and other factors of employment. She previously labored as a Law Clerk for a law office in White River Junction, Vermont, where she gained trial experience in crook courts, representing individuals in felony, misdemeanor, and DUI/ DWI instances. She also treated quite a number crook instances, attended pretrial meetings, assisted with discovery, jury selection, and witness interviews, in addition to appearing legal research, analysis, composing pleadings, briefs, and other court docket files related to prison problems in crook litigation, and formulated guidelines to senior legal professionals.
As a Bureau of Legal Affairs Intern for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, Victoria researched and wrote policy guidelines on issues involving Clean Water Act (CWA), Clean Air Act (CAA), and different federal and kingdom legal guidelines. She also organized for and recommended at administrative enforcement hearings on the Environmental Control Board (ECB) of the NYC Office of Administrative Trials & Hearings (OATH) on behalf of DEP and drafted appeals of administrative choices. She also become a Legal Intern for Earthworks in Washington, D.C., in which she finished legal research on federal and nation environmental legal guidelines, wrote office memos, assisted drafting amicus briefs, attended Congressional hearings, and wrote editorials for the Earthworks internet site.
