Timothy changed into born and raised in the southwest aspect of Chicago. He attended St. Laurence High School, and graduated from Northern Illinois University.
Before going to law school, Timothy turned into working as an Illinois Certified Public Accountant (CPA), having obtained his certification in 1989. He spent four and a half of years operating for Arthur Andersen & CO., Chase Manhattan Bank and Shand Morahan & Company.
Timothy went to John Marshall Law School, graduating and being admitted to the Bar in May 1994 (Cum Laude) and become a group of workers member of the Journal of Computer and Information Law. He opened his own law workplace in 1996 underneath the call of the Law Office of Timothy J. Coffey, that is now referred to as The Coffey Law Office, P.C.
Timothy is a sole practitioner in Chicago, Illinois, licensed to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, the USA Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and has been admitted on different federal courts to represent customers. His practice focuses on hard work and employment litigation on behalf of employees or former personnel who've been victimized by means of discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation within the workplace.
Timothy is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (Labor & Employment Law, Civil Practice & Procedure, and Federal Civil Practice Sections), the American Bar Association (General Practice, Labor & Employment and Litigation Sections), and a member of the National Employment Lawyer’s Association at times inside the past.
Since 1996, Timothy has treated hundreds of civil rights, National Labor Relations Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, The Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment, retaliation and other employment related cases. He has ably blanketed and increased the rights of hundreds of workers.
