Tom become born and raised in Iowa City. He obtained his BA degree from Harvard University in 1975 after which again home to attend the University of Iowa College of Law. After completing regulation school in 1978, Tom joined the regulation workplace in which he has been a companion due to the fact that 1983. Tom represents people, agencies and tax-exempt groups on quite a few legal matters principally in areas of business and transactional regulation, consisting of contracts, real property, business and non-profit entities, estate and present planning, administration of trusts and estates, healthcare, and charitable foundations. In addition to his prison practice, Tom has over the years been energetic in community service together with such organizations as the Iowa City Public Library Board of Trustees, Iowa City Public Library Friends Foundation, Iowa City Community Leadership Program, Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce, University of Iowa Alumni Association, Iowa City Area Development Group, Bur Oak Land Trust and severa others.
