Originally from Detroit, MI, I grew up in Waco, TX and graduated from the University of North Texas earlier than attending University of Missouri for law college. During regulation school I become a Student Ambassador, a member of the Black Law Students Association, the Criminal Law Association, and additionally made time to volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).
