Sydney acquired her regulation diploma from the University of Alabama after finishing her undergraduate research at Ole Miss. While on the University of Alabama School of Law, Sydney studied crook regulation and criminal defense underneath the current Executive Director and Lawyer-in-Chief of the Federal Defenders of New York, and earned top honors for her work in Alabama’s crook protection clinic. She also served as the Ethics Opinions Editor for Volume 35 of the Journal of the Legal Profession. After graduating from regulation college, Sydney worked as a Staff Lawyer on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Sydney worked on numerous cases even as serving as a group of workers lawyer, including appeals from crook, post-conviction, civil rights, and employment choices, and petitions for evaluate from the Board of Immigration of Appeals. Her very last two years on the Staff Lawyer’s Office were spent working in the main on petitions for post-conviction comfort. Sydney changed into born and raised in Decatur, Alabama. She now resides in Atlanta along with her husband, Dr. Nathan Sherrer. Sydney and Nathan are animal lovers, and are proud mother and father to puppies Jackson and Lucy, and cat George.
