My regulation exercise is devoted nearly exclusively to appeals and writ court cases in civil instances. Although I can handle an attraction in any California state or federal appellate court docket, my regulation practice has focused upon appeals inside the nation Sixth District Court of Appeal in San Jose. The Pacific Law Journal published 3 of my articles at the Sixth District. In each article, I analyzed the court docket’s published opinions in civil instances over a 3-year period. Also, as a beyond chair of the Appellate Courts Section of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, I had the respect to introduce at bar luncheons 5 Sixth District justices, of whom nevertheless serve at the court docket. I actually have argued greater civil appeals before the Sixth District than almost another lawyer. Among legal professionals within the San Jose vicinity, I actually have the uncommon distinction of being each a member of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers and a State Bar licensed specialist in appellate regulation.
