Born in Columbia, Ra’na is a native of South Carolina and attended the University of South Carolina for each her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. She received a diploma in history from the University of South Carolina, and later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
While in undergrad, Ra’na spent her leisure time gambling roller derby for the Richland County Regulators, a passion she still holds. In law faculty she served as Assistant Article Editor for the faculty’s Journal of Law and Education, interned at diverse law workplaces, and took part in a domestic violence clinic wherein she furnished women in want with unfastened felony services. In her free time, she enjoys curler skating, spending time along with her menagerie of pets, and arguing with strangers on the net.
