Nikki attended Mississippi University for Women, and received her B.A. in Political Science in 2013. She also attended Missouri University of Science & Technology where she acquired her B.A., summa cum laude, in History in 2015.
Nikki obtained her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2018 from the University of Mississippi School of Law with a attention in Entertainment & Sports Law. Nikki served as a member of the Mississippi Law Journal, Federal Courts Law Review, and Mississippi Sports Law Review. Nikki turned into decided on as a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and served because the President of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Nikki become concerned in various organizations which includes the Entertainment Law Organization, the Recording Academy, the Sports Law Organization, and Women in Law.
After graduating law faculty, Nikki served as a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jimmy L. Croom on the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee for the 2018-2019 term.
Nikki acquired her LL.M. in Intellectual Property from Cardozo School of Law in 2020. She became a member of the Fashion Law Society, Art Law Society, Entertainment Law Society, Sports Law Society, and OUTlaw, in addition to serving as a textbook editor for Barbara Kolsun and Douglas Hand’s The Business and Law of Fashion and Retail.
Nikki has been published two times, together with her article, “Bad Blood”: Reconciling the Recording Industry and Copyright Protections on the Internet, published within the nineteenth Volume of the Florida Coastal Law Review in 2019. Her first article, “All the Truth I Could Tell”: A Discussion of Title VII’s Potential Impact on Systemic Entertainment Industry Victimization, become posted within the twenty fifth Volume of the University of California Los Angeles Women’s Law Journal in 2018.
Nikki is licensed to exercise in New York State and specializes in entertainment and intellectual belongings law.
