About
Michael Scott Large is a member of the Law Office of Deirdre W. Edmonds, PA. He graduated from Richard Stockton College with a Bachelor of Arts diploma in 1987 and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law in 1991. Michael is admitted to practice regulation in South Carolina, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Prior to joining the Law Office of Deirdre W. Edmonds, Michael become the Elder Law unit head with South Carolina Legal Services. During his time there, Michael’s practice centered at the growing old populace and individuals with disabilities. He labored collaboratively with local community companies, country businesses, and country wide organizations to increase new packages and outreach that helped teach the general public and protect the rights of vulnerable adults. He is skilled within the regions of elder regulation, estate planning, supported selection making, guardianship and conservatorship subjects, Medicaid planning for nursing home care, probate management and litigation, and public benefits appeals.
Michael is an energetic member of the South Carolina Bar presently serving at the Vulnerable Adult Task Force and Elder Law Committee. He is a member of the Horry County Bar, National Academy of Elder Law Lawyers, and serves on the Board of Directors for Champion Autism Network. Michael is likewise a Leadership Grand Strand alumni. He is a common volunteer and speaker on problems affecting the elderly and inclined adults. Michael is thankfully married to his spouse Becky and they have sons.
