I were a constitutional protection lawyer for over 30 years [after serving a few years as a federal judicial law clerk and as a deputy district attorney], 13 of which were as a deputy public defender for San Bernardino County, after which I retired and helped shape Ledger & Kennedy, which advanced into Kennedy & Roe at the beginning of 2007, which I dissolved in August of 2012 and started my modern-day sole exercise.
I concentrate completely on crook and constitutional litigation, and I actually have treated every way and nature of crook case, from infractions to LWOP murders.
I am an invited MCLE lecturer at numerous venues, for diverse attorney businesses, including the California State Bar, California Public Defenders Association [CPDA], California Lawyers for Criminal Justice, California DUI Lawyers Association [CDLA, of which I am a Board member and listserver moderator], Private Defenders of California, Inc., National College for DUI Defense, Inc. [NCDD, of which I am the California State Delegate], Atlanta Criminal Defense Bar, Georgia Criminal Defense Bar, Georgia Public Defender Boot Camp, San Antonio Criminal Defense Bar, Missouri State Bar, Arkansas State Bar Mock Trial Seminar, Annual Las Vegas Public Defender Retreat, Lonestar Seminars [Texas], California Desert Trial Academy, and various public defenders’ and alternate public defenders’ offices, and local Bar institutions.
I had been called upon to testify as an professional witness on diverse subjects, consisting of Fourth Amendment jurisprudence, before the trial and writ courts of the State of California.
I even have also lectured at diverse middle and secondary faculties, and I become a BSA Counselor for Law, Citizenship in the Nation, American Heritage, and Scholarship Merit Badges, to help the Youth of today apprehend that the Republic of today is, as outstanding from time to time from what its Founders supposed.
