Lawyer Michael C. Bivona is a member of both the Connecticut and New York State Bars. Since joining the Firm in November of 2013, Michael has worked on cases related to an array of exercise areas, such as, crook defense, civil litigation, employment law, appeals, and administrative hearings in both Connecticut and New York. Michael presently co-chairs the Firm’s Property Crimes, Restraining Order and DMV Practice Groups.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Quinnipiac University in 2010, Michael went directly to earn his Juris Doctor - magna cum laude - with an honors attention in Criminal Law and Advocacy from the Quinnipiac University School of Law. While in law faculty, Michael served as the Executive Vice President for the Mock Trial Honor Society. He become also a member of the local championship team at the 2012 Quinnipiac Law / ABA Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition, triumphing the celebrated Best Overall Advocate award.
In 2018, Michael obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Trial Advocacy from Temple University School of Law.
Since joining the Firm, Michael has continued his involvement with Quinnipiac Law’s award triumphing mock trial software by using serving as a educate in numerous competitions.
Prior to joining the firm as lawyer in 2013, Michael worked as an intern on the Law Offices of Mark Sherman. He additionally served as an intern for the New Haven State s Lawyer s Office.
