Matthew H. Springmeyer acquired a Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Literacy Studies (writing emphasis) from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2010. Mr. Springmeyer attended regulation college at California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA. Mr. Springmeyer graduated within the pinnacle ten of his class with Magna Cum Laude Honors in 2013.
While in regulation school, Mr. Springmeyer turned into the Co-Chair of the Community Outreach Committee, which centered on providing regulation college students with volunteer possibilities. He was also at the Dean’s Honor List every trimester and received Pro Bono and Public Service honors for his sizable hours committed to supporting others. Additionally, Mr. Springmeyer turned into the Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the California Western International Law Journal, in addition to a member of the California Western Law Review.
Mr. Springmeyer worked as a federal judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Ruben B. Brooks, Southern District of California. He has also worked for the San Diego County Public Defender in the Multiple Conflicts Office, the Legal Aid Society of San Diego—where he worked in their Pro Bono Clinics, and the US Lawyer’s Officer for the Southern District of California wherein he labored inside the Narcotics Enforcement Section. He is certified to exercise regulation in all the California kingdom courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
