Matt grew up in Boone before leaving the vicinity to attend college at the University of Notre Dame and law school at Duke University. After law college, Matt worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, earlier than returning to North Carolina to work on the Mecklenburg County District Lawyer s Office. Matt eventually satisfied his wife and own family to go back to his place of birth of Boone to work in the Distirict Lawyer s Office in Watauga and Avery Counties. Since going into personal practice, Matt has used his trial competencies to fight for his clients inside the court docket.
