Following commencement from Weber State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in English and a Business Minor, Marjorie obtained her law degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 1993, where she became active in the Student Bar Association.
Marjorie opened the corporation of Goldsmith & Guymon, P.C. with Dara J. Goldsmith in 1996. She practices in the main in financial disaster, business regulation, property making plans, own family regulation, guardianship, probate and agree with administration. Marjorie is certified in Nevada and Utah, admitted to exercise in each state and federal courts in both jurisdictions. She is also admitted to practice earlier than the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Marjorie has practiced law in the Las Vegas location in excess of 25 years at some point of which era she has served the network providing considerable pro bono legal offerings. Among different accolades, she obtained the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year Award in 2011, even as her corporation has acquired the Clark County Pro Bono Law Office of the Year Award in 2001, Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Lied Award for most pro bono cases taken by way of a regulation office in 2008, and the Clark County Pro Bono Project’s Law Office of the Year in 2008.
Marjorie is also actively concerned in various legal groups, such the American Bar Association, State Bar of Nevada, Clark County Bar Association, Southern Nevada Association of Bankruptcy Lawyers, Southern Nevada Association of Women Lawyers, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers.
When not working, Marjorie spends her time with own family and friends, touring, trekking, biking, and volunteering.
