Our organization originated in 1949 Cuba and 1976 Miami, FL USA. We are a third technology law workplace that hopes to serve our network for many more years. Our company has been AV-Rated Preeminent for over 20 consecutive years. Lawyer Luis Fernandez is the son of the late Luis Fernandez-Caubi, legal professional in Cuba and in the United States until 1997, and founder of the law workplace. Our regulation office has delivered Anna Fernandez (St. Thomas, 2011). Fernandez-Caubi taught regulation at Santo Tomas de Villanueva in Cuba, and Luis Fernandez taught at FIU within the Criminal Justice Program for many years. The corporation seemed at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland in 1988 and assisted within the Human Rights Campaign that caused the liberty of political prisoners in Cuba. The corporation has endured to represent the oppressed and with the assistance of Wilfredo Allen, has appeared in instances in Great Britain and assisted refugees in Peru and Nicaragua. Recently, the corporation has played a part in figuring out violators of Human Rights in Cuba, along with attackers of the Ladies in White (Damas en Blanco) thru Repression, ID application in which the company turned into a founding member. The corporation, with the past due Jean Camper Kahn (founder of Antioch Law School in Washington DC), the regulation workplace of Steptoe & Johnson, Legal Aid and others, successfully attempted the Meek v. Martinez landmark case, which resulted in the aged minority receiving their proper proportion of government price range within the Miami-Dade County area. The company has represented El Movimiento Democracia in instances coping with the interception of rafters at sea, and subjects handling the Neutrality Act. The corporation has obtained recognition from groups along with La Brigada 2506, Miami-Dade County Bar Association, Movimiento Democracia, Hermanos de Rescate, Mayoral Proclamations and has twice acquired the CABA Pro Bono Award. Anna Fernandez leads the Civil and Family sections of the practice. Luis Fernandez heads the Criminal, Entertainment, and Election sections of the company. › ›
