In addition to Lyn’s extensive tax experience, Lyn also served as counsel to the South Carolina Senate Ethics Committee for over seven years. During this time, Lyn advised Senate members and applicants on marketing campaign finance and ethics legal guidelines, audited marketing campaign reports, investigated lawsuits filed towards Senate contributors and candidates, supplied evidentiary findings to the Ethics Committee during hearings, and drafted ethics rules.
Before beginning Odom Law, Lyn decided to go back the study room to supplement his current tax heritage with complete property planning techniques. In August 2016, Lyn enrolled inside the renowned Heckerling Graduate Program in Estate Planning at the University of Miami School of Law to take a look at wealth transfer making plans from some of the exceptional practitioners inside the united states.
