Katie is passionate about instructing and empowering others, and utilizes her felony enjoy to assist individuals recognize and resolve their legal troubles. Although interested in a diverse variety of felony fields, Katie is passionate about advocating for the rights of others in matters of discrimination, employment troubles, and wage and hour disputes at The Erlich Law Office.
Before coming to The Erlich Law Office, Katie worked as the Assistant City Lawyer for the City of Winchester. Previously, Katie worked as an intern at the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services in Washington, DC.
Katie earned her J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law. While attending regulation college, Katie served as Publication Manager of the Ave Maria Law Review and Secretary of the Student Bar Association. Katie participated in numerous other student groups, consisting of the Criminal Justice Society, the Military Law Society and the Women’s Law Association. An article written by means of Katie won 2nd place in the Howard Schwabb Essay Contest with book via The American Bar Association’s Section of Family Law and the National Association of Counsel for Children. The Homeland Security Review posted a separate article on national security law written by using Katie.
Katie is at the beginning from southeast Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. While in Michigan, Katie became a certified member of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) via the Federal Emergency Management Agency and volunteered to help with affected person care at Sparrow Hospital.
Katie relocated to Virginia in 2012. She is admitted to practice within the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
