While at the Center, I helped to begin Project Deter, a 24/7 software for victims of domestic violence, and became instrumental in launching the Family Court Legal Assistance Program. The model for the FCLAP, which gives a one-prevent carrier community for sufferers of home violence (from petitioning for custody, to acquiring infant support orders, to attempting Family Offenses to benefit orders of protections), has been widely imitated and is still running these days in each the White Plains and Yonkers Family Court. I helped creator the Court of Appeals case, In Re: Afton C, which became extensively posted and maintains to tackle hard troubles of regulation in appellate court practice.
