Karen Hartman-Tellez has practiced law in Arizona for almost two decades within the area of civil litigation related to constitutional, civil rights, education, employment, media, and political regulation problems. Practicing each in the non-public quarter and as an attorney for nation and local governments, she has litigated subjects in kingdom and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative tribunals, and tribal courts.
Most recently, Karen served as Chief Counsel for the Arizona Lawyer General’s Education Unit, wherein she represented Arizona’s country training-related groups and officials. She additionally labored inside the Lawyer General’s Agency Counsel Section, representing state groups in topics ranging from public statistics to balloting rights. For 4 years, Karen served as Chief Counsel for the Arizona Civil Rights Division, overseeing investigations of claims of discrimination in employment, housing, voting, and public lodges
