About
Jon Weetman is an attorney who focuses on commercial enterprise regulation who also serves as a enterprise counselor in affiliation with The Entrepreneur Store by Ibid. His passion is enriching the lives of entrepreneurs by way of making their companies higher.
Before the launch of The Entrepreneur Store in August of 2015, Jon became the Director of Entrepreneurship and Workforce Development for the Carroll County Department of Economic Development. While there, he labored to set up a main commercial enterprise support service community that includes the Carroll Business Path, the Carroll County Small Business Loan Fund, and the “Know Before It’s Go” regulatory compliance help software. In addition, he worked to enhance group of workers development as head of the Carroll County Business and Employment Resource Center.
Before working for Carroll County government, Jon’s profession was focused on business management, consulting, and criminal services. His experience consists of commercial enterprise unit leadership positions in addition to going for walks his own consulting employer and law workplace.
His in advance enjoy consists of positions with international manufacturers as well as having led a crew of LEAN and Six Sigma engineers providing commercial procedure improvements in numerous packages.
Jon has a degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland, an MBA from Loyola University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. His negotiation schooling includes the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Maryland Bar.
Jon is a Washington, D.C. place native who moved 24 years ago to Carroll County wherein he and his wife Holly are raising their kids, Carly and Matt. In his spare time, he enjoys what he considers the world’s great element-time process as Hockey Director and coach at a Frederick place ice rink.
