J. MICHAEL McBRIDE has helped corporations and people thru financial ruin for 34 years. His firm handles enterprise reorganization, Chapter eleven and Chapter 7 bankruptcy and represents lenders in Chapter thirteen bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, collections, arbitration and mediation, in addition to associated federal courtroom litigation. After graduating from Emory University and SMU Law School, Michael clerked for a Federal District Court Judge before getting into the non-public practice.
Michael has authored many articles, seminar papers and a book entitled Purchase and Sale of Assets in Bankruptcy, 2d Ed., John Wiley & Sons, Inc., and authored the Advanced Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Practice, Aspen Law & Business, Cumulative Supplement.
Michael is admitted in Texas and practices regulation in all county, district court docket and all federal districts in Texas in addition to the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits. Michael also offers giant pro bono felony services for individuals thru the non-income enterprise Texas Lawyer for Texas Veterans and volunteers with Union Gospel Mission of Fort Worth.
