About
Jessica Burke is the Founder of Burke Law. Ms. Burke grew up in Fairlee, Vermont and Hanover, New Hampshire. She attended Boston College wherein she acquired her B.A. in Political Science. She obtained her J.D. from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
Prior to founding Burke Law in 2011, Ms. Burke worked as a Public Defender in Chesapeake, Virginia where she attempted masses of instances ranging from simple assault to first degree homicide. Ms. Burke has additionally advocated for defendants’ rights within the global arena through visiting correctional facilities and interviewing prisoners in Liberia in collaboration with the United Nations’ detainee treatment initiative. Ms. Burke is admitted to exercise in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Virginia and has zealously represented crook defendants in all 4 states.
When Ms. Burke is out of doors of the workplace she enjoys spending time with own family and buddies, trekking with her two golden retrievers, going for walks, and sampling Vermont’s greatest craft brews.
