About

A native of Lynden in Whatcom County, I actually have spent my career representing normal citizens, small business proprietors, and purchasers in Washington in financial ruin and civil cases. My primary consciousness is Chapter eleven financial ruin cases involving apartment homes, developers, and small business, even though I am experienced in many areas of debt and consumer regulation.

I am a 2001 graduate of Western Washington University in Bellingham, and received my law diploma from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego in 2005. Prior to cofounding Henry DeGraaff & McCormick, I worked in widespread practice at Libey, Enley, Esser & Nelson in Pullman, and bankruptcy regulation at John Long Law in Issaquah.

I am a member of the Professionalism Committee of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), and chair the has club Outreach Subcommittee. I am coauthoring the professionalism chapter of the imminent edition of the Washington Civil Procedure Deskbook, and have co-written some of articles on debt and client troubles for the King County Bar Bulletin.
