About
Geoff earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia in ’86 in Foreign Affairs and his J.D. from the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law in ’89. Geoff attended the University of Hawaii on a soccer scholarship before shifting to the University of Virginia, wherein he performed for George Welsh and changed into a member of the ’eighty four Peach Bowl championship team – the primary UVA team to make a bowl look.
As a lawyer Geoff has acquired more than $400 million in settlements and awards for his customers. He has correctly tried instances resulting in over 200 written evaluations, such as 46 Court of Appeals or Workers’ Compensation Commission critiques. Several of those cases helped form the law for damage sufferers on a variety of issues—including administrative center suicides, everlasting impairment for 0.33-diploma burns, and patient consent for clinical procedures. He has lectured on diverse areas of regulation and has been posted in Trial Magazine and other guides.
Geoff has represented numerous hard work and worker institutions and their club in the course of Virginia in arbitrations, mediations and people’ reimbursement matters, and has served as prison counsel for the Virginia State Building and Construction Trades Council.
