Fred began protective the rights of Idaho working human beings in 1988. Indeed, he helped form Idaho law through briefs and argument which extended the statute of boundaries for injured people in Idaho. (Ryen v. City of Coeur d’Alene, 115 Idaho 791, 770 P.second 800 (1989).) Fred has continued the fight to ensure working human beings in Idaho are paid all their advantages. (Corgatelli v. Steel West Inc., 157 Idaho 287, 335 P.3d 1150 (2014).) Fred’s latest victory before Idaho Supreme Court set up a rock solid ruling that offers injured Idaho people the capability to defeat claims made through Idaho employee’s reimbursement insurance companies requiring the injured worker to pay returned worker’s reimbursement advantages if they obtain a healing from a third birthday party. (Maravilla v. Simplot, __ Idaho __, 387 P.3d 123 (2016).) These 3 cases have and could keep to bring about the fee of millions of dollars in extra advantages to injured Idaho employees.
Fred comes from blue collar roots. His father, Max, become a devoted lifetime member of the Teamsters Union. Growing up in a blue-collar operating class neighborhood of sincere tough working humans instilled a passion in Fred to combat for those injured inside the place of job. He and his spouse adorable wife Ann have 3 youngsters and six grandchildren. Fred is a lifelong fly fisherman, big recreation hunter and fan of the Boston Red Sox.
