Frank has nearly 30 years of enjoy representing tribal governments and entities in a huge range of tribal, federal and kingdom law topics, with an emphasis on sovereignty and jurisdictional issues. Frank’s practice includes appellate, civil and administrative litigation in tribal, federal and nation courts and corporations. He has giant enjoy advising tribal councils, developing tribal codes, ordinances, resolutions and regulations, creating tribal governmental and economic development entities, and counseling customers in all components of federal Indian law, contracts, administrative regulation, employment troubles, and environmental regulation, among other regions. Frank has written severa amicus curie briefs for Tribes, the National Congress of American Indians, the National Indian Gaming Association, and the California Nations Indian Gaming Association, in Indian regulation instances on the United States Supreme Court, federal circuit courts of attraction, federal district courts, and state ideal and appellate courts. Frank’s practice has targeted on advocating for Tribes in regions of overlapping jurisdiction amongst federal, country, neighborhood and tribal governments.
Prior to forming the Law Office of Frank Lawrence, Frank changed into a Partner in the Indian Law Practice Group at Holland & Knight LLP, beginning in 2000. Before that he served as an accomplice at Indian Law boutique companies.
