Dustin practices in all regions of healthcare regulation. He devotes a sizeable portion of his practice to transactional, regulatory, and Fraud & Abuse topics, consisting of counseling healthcare providers nationwide regarding compliance with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark regulation, and other federal and state fraud and abuse laws. Prior to joining Wachler & Associates, P.C., Dustin s beyond enjoy consists of, but isn't restrained to, working for the Cook County Circuit Court in Chicago, Illinois and Wayne County Corporation Counsel in Detroit, Michigan. He is also an investor and counselor to numerous early-degree agencies, such as healthcare start-usain the United States and India.
Dustin is admitted to practice in both Michigan and New York. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan s Health Care Law Section and State Bar of New York s Health Law Section. Dustin is likewise a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, and Oakland County Bar Association. He served as Vice Chair of the American Bar Association YLD s Health Law Committee. Dustin presently serves as a Lead Coordinator for the American Health Lawyers Association s Fraud & Abuse Practice Group. He has been appointed to a 3-12 months term on the State Bar of Michigan s Health Care Law Section Council, which is the board that oversees the Health Care Law Section. Dustin is the Chair of the State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section s New Lawyers and Law Students Committee.
