He has revel in with the Indian Child Welfare Act and has represented Indian Tribes, in addition to other parties in ICWA cases in North Carolina and Tennessee.
David is licensed to practice in Tennessee, North Carolina and within the Tribal Court for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, as well as being admitted to the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. District Courts for Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
He is a native of Jackson County and graduated from Appalachian State University in 1994 with a degree in Political Science and graduated from the University of Memphis in 2000 together with his Juris Doctor.
