In his regulation profession, Dan has helped countless injured employees and their households obtain the medical care and the compensation they deserve. In reality, he has done some of the highest employees’ reimbursement settlements within the nation of North Carolina.
Dan is considered one of a pick group of board licensed specialists in people’ compensation law practicing in North Carolina. He is also a member of the distinguished Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Dan is deeply dedicated to network service and volunteer work. He supports some of charities and network corporations through presents of his time, information and economic contributions. Along together with his spouse, Dawne, Dan endows a scholarship at UNC School of Law.
He is politically energetic in protective the rights of injured humans, most notably as founder of the grassroots organisation Protect N.C. Workers.
Dan obtained his undergraduate diploma from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1987. He graduated from the UNC School of Law, J.D., and was admitted to the N.C. State Bar in 1991.
He founded the Deuterman Law Group in 2003.
Dan has served in management positions with the N.C. Bar Association. He and the organization had been recognized for their seasoned bono work, ethics and community carrier. He is a member of the N.C. Advocates for Justice (NCAJ), the N.C. Bar Association (NCBA), the Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group (WILG), the Greensboro Bar Association (GBA) and the Guilford Inn of Court. In 2005, he became admitted to the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court.
Dan acquired the 2011 Ebbie Award, an award given yearly with the aid of NCAJ’s president to participants in popularity of provider and inspired commitment to the agency. Also in 2011, Dan acquired a 2d award from the people’ compensation segment of the NCAJ for his “first rate service rendered to the phase in furtherance of the maintenance of justice for injured people in North Carolina.”
