My determination to immigration practice began many years in the past whilst my mom and I followed a Chinese refugee circle of relatives from Vietnam. Then newly admitted to the New York Bar, I found out immigration law on the way to help all of my family to emerge as U.S. citizens after which to sponsor other own family individuals via the maze of the prison immigration process. They have flourished and I even have evolved a ardour for assisting others to acquire criminal status inside the U.S.

My academic heritage: After graduating from Poughkeepsie High School, I attended Harvard-Radcliffe in Cambridge, MA, for fours years, majoring in Government with the goal of pursuing a profession as an legal professional. For seven months I lived in Europe with my then husband. and upon returning to NYC, I enrolled at NYU School of Law, wherein I obtained my J.D. and LL.M. in International Legal Studies. I also spent a 5th year in Cambridge on the Harvard Divinity School, where I studied Buddhism and comparative faith and ethics. For eight years I labored as an legal professional for the Port Authority of NY & NJ in the fields of real estate and appellate practice.
In 1992 I lower back to the Town of Poughkeepsie to my own family domestic and and started out training immigration regulation.
